BMH Behavioral Health medical staff changes

Submitted by Marc Burock, MD, Medical Director, Inpatient Psychiatry, Bryn Mawr Hospital

The department of Behavioral Health at Bryn Mawr Hospital wishes to announce medical staff changes.

For the past 8 years, Dr. Linda Ryan has developed and run the consult-liaison psychiatry service at Bryn Mawr Hospital. Her leadership, clinical expertise, dedication to patients, and interdisciplinary communication greatly improved the quality of patient care on the inpatient medical units. Ask the hospital medical staff what it was like “Before Linda”, and you will appreciate the difference she has made.

Dr. Ryan will be leaving this role, but will continue to work for Main Line Health as the medical director of the Women’s Emotional Wellness Center which provides care to women and families before, during, and after pregnancy. We wish her well in this next stage of her career.

Dr. Bahar Hadjiesmaeiloo—she encourages you to sound out her last name—will continue the consult-liaison psychiatry service for Dr. Ryan. Dr. Hadjiesmaeiloo was the chief resident at Jefferson University and previously rotated on our inpatient psychiatric unit. She looks forward to working with the clinical staff at Bryn Mawr Hospital, and to continue integrating the behavioral and medical health needs of our patients. Please do not hesitate to say hello when you see her in the halls.
