I am proud to announce that Lankenau Medical Center’s Internal Medicine Residency Program had a three-year rolling ABIM board pass rate of 98%. The national pass rate for this exam is 85%.
Among all three-year Internal Medicine residencies in Pennsylvania, Lankenau Medical Center tied for the highest passage rate. This is a remarkable achievement.
Additionally, our three Residents in the Osteopathic track program once again had the highest score in the nation on their in-service training exam. Our Residents have ranked number one annually on this exam since the inception of the Osteopathic track.
Please join me in congratulating our trainees and their leaders: William Surkis, MD, Vice-Chairman of Medicine for Education and Program Director of the Internal Medicine Residency Program; Associate Program Directors Jonathan Doroshow, MD, and Catherine Kuntz, MD; and Daniel Lazowick, DO, Director of Osteopathic Medical Education and Osteopathic Program Director.
