MLH advances Senior Services program with appointment of System Director


Main Line Health is establishing a new Senior Services program to ensure that seniors in the western suburbs have access to the necessary resources and are provided with coordinated care in the appropriate setting across the entire continuum.


System Director of Senior Services at Main Line Health will be the former Secretary of the Department of Aging for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Brian M. Duke, MHA, MBE.


Duke, who will report to Riddle Hospital President Gary Perecko, will work in collaboration with Dr. Thomas Lawrence, System Medical Director of Geriatric Medicine and Long-Term Care at Main Line Health, to achieve the strategic vision set forth by the MLH Senior Services Steering Committee.


His office will be located at Riddle Hospital on the Mezzanine Level of Health Center 3 in Suite 3102A. He can be reached on his cell phone at 215-327-5343 or in his office at 484.227.3201.


Duke currently serves on a number of boards and societies, including The American Society on Aging, the Institute of Medicine’s Committee on Family Caregiving of Older Adults, and the National Advisory Board’s Telehealth Intervention Programs for Seniors. He is also an Associate Fellow with the University of Pennsylvania’s Institute on Aging. Additionally, he chaired the Pennsylvania State Alzheimer’s Disease Planning Committee and served as the Executive Director of the New Jersey Foundation for Aging.


Earlier in his career, Duke was the Administrative Director of Hospital Services at Bryn Mawr Rehabilitation Hospital.
