Lecture on Pennsylvania Orders for Life-Sustaining Treatment


On November 11, Thomas E. Lawrence, MD, System Medical Director of Geriatric Medicine and Long Term Care, and Grace Wummer, RN, System Director of Patient Care Coordination, will present a lecture on Pennsylvania Orders for Life-Sustaining Treatment and Community Implementation will be held at Paoli Hospital’s Potter Room, from 6-7:30pm.


Pennsylvania Orders for Life Sustaining Treatment (POLST) is an approach to end-of-life planning to ensure that seriously ill or frail patients’ wishes for treatment choice are documented and honored in all healthcare settings.
