Upon the recommendation of the Medical Executive Committee, the Main Line Health Board of Governors has approved the appointment of Dr. Ernest F. Ernie has served in a number of leadership positions in the Main Line Health System, including 21 years as the Chief of the Paoli Family Practice Department. I am delighted that Ernie has accepted the System Chair role. I will be partnering with Ernie and members of the Department of Family Practice along with colleagues in General Internal Medicine, Pediatrics and OBGYN to navigate the evolving role of Primary Care in the health care delivery environment. Main Line Health is committed to continuing to be a leading regional health system in providing state-of-the-art Primary Care aligned with a network of specialists serving patients in highly coordinated, accessible and patient centered care. We also want to build on our long legacy of graduate medical education in Family Medicine.

Please join me in congratulating Ernie on his appointment and supporting him in this important leadership role at Main Line Health.
