Norman A. Brest, MD, appointed interim Chairman of the MLH Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology

 

Norman A. Brest, MD, who started his postgraduate training as a Resident in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Lankenau in 1979, has been appointed interim Chairman of OB/GYN for Main Line Health.  A nationwide search is currently underway for a successor to Nancy Roberts, MD, who announced her plans to step down as Chair last March.

 

Dr. Brest has been Campus Chief of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Lankenau Medical Center since 2008. He chairs Lankenau’s Obstetrical Management Team and the Subcommittee on OB/GYN Education. He serves as the Program Director of Lankenau’s OB/GYN Residency Program. He is also a member of many MLH committees including Lankenau’s Medical Operations Committee, Patient Safety and Quality Committee, MLH Graduate Medical Education Committee and the OB CEW.
