MCMS student scholarship to be named for Bill Lander, MD

The Montgomery County Medical Society, at its Annual Membership Dinner, will honor the memory of Bill Lander, MD, by renaming the medical student scholarship after him and also by giving out the very first annual William “Bill” Lander, MD, Excellence in Primary Care Award.

Dr. Lander had been chief of family practice at Bryn Mawr Hospital, as well as campus medical staff staff president, hospital representative to the American Medical Association, and a member of the hospital’s executive committee.
