This week’s STEEEP Huddle: P for Patient-Centered

This week’s STEEEP Huddle topic—submitted by Donna Phillips, Executive Sponsor, and Karen Kofalt, Project Director for PIVOT — notes that PIVOT (Promoting Innovation by Valuing Organizational Transformation) is more than an information technology project. The transition to Epic, a new electronic medical records system, is one of the PIVOT projects that will improve how we interact with patients, clinicians and staff in delivering patient-centered care.

The STEEEP Huddle template is a guide to conduct unit-based Huddles or during departmental staff meetings. The STEEEP Huddle topics are posted on the Performance Excellence 2020 site at landing.mainlinehealth.org/PE2020. Although all physicians may not have the opportunity to participate in the STEEEP Huddles, the topics are being included in MLH Clinician weekly to help share the information across MLH.
