This week’s STEEEP Huddle: E for Effective – The Baldrige Journey for PE2020

This week’s STEEEP Huddle topic— “Effective”: The Baldrige Journey for PE2020, submitted by Barbara Wadsworth, CNO—focuses on how the Baldrige Performance Excellence Framework will help us embed high-reliability practices across the System.

A July 12-14 site visit by Mid-Atlantic Alliance for Performance Excellence (MAAPE), an organization that uses the Baldrige Framework to help organizations improve performance and outcomes, will help influence our PE2020 effort.

The STEEEP Huddle template is a guide to conduct unit-based Huddles or during departmental staff meetings. The STEEEP Huddle topics are posted on the Performance Excellence 2020 site at landing.mainlinehealth.org/PE2020. Although all physicians may not have the opportunity to participate in the STEEEP Huddles, the topics are being included in MLH Clinician weekly to help share the information across MLH.
