On behalf of the Riddle Hospital team, we are pleased to report that, early this week, we received approval from the Department of Health (DOH) to resume occupancy of most of the impacted areas following last week’s water damage.
After a week of mitigation efforts, the majority of affected areas in Health Care Center 3 have been fully restored. The extensive work involved included water mitigation, remediation and complete restoration of several outpatient care areas and physician offices.
Below is an update on the status of the areas affected by water damage:
Newly Open and Operating:
– Comprehensive Breast Center, including Mammogram, Ultrasound 1 & 2, and DEXA Scan
– Pre-Admission Testing, including Outpatient Lab, Pulmonary Function Testing, and Registration
– Cath Lab 2
– MRI 1 & 2
Closed Until Further Notice:
– Cath Lab 1
– Radiology support space, first floor
– Mezzanine Level Offices and Physician Practices (temporarily relocated)
Our remediation work will continue in the affected areas, and these areas are expected to be fully restored and operational in the coming weeks.
If you have questions or concerns, please contact your manager during the day hours and the Nursing Supervisor with overnight concerns at x3208.
