STEEEP Huddle: S for SAFE – Hand Hygiene

This week’s STEEEP Huddle , submitted by Eileen Sherman, director, Infection Prevention, discusses how compliance with MLH’s Hand Hygiene policy will provide a safer, healthier environment for patients and staff. Commit to safe care by performing hand hygiene when appropriate and by speaking up for safety.

The STEEEP Huddle template is a guide to conduct unit-based Huddles or during departmental staff meetings. The STEEEP Huddle topics are posted on the Performance Excellence 2020 site at landing.mainlinehealth.org/PE2020.

Although all physicians may not have the opportunity to participate in the STEEEP Huddles, the topics are being included in MLH Clinician weekly to help share the information across MLH.
