BMH honors the late William Lander, MD

By Danielle F. Dougherty, Development representative, Bryn Mawr Hospital Foundation

On September 16, friends, family, and colleagues gathered at Bryn Mawr Hospital to honor the late Dr. William Lander.

In recognition of his 64 years of leadership as a family physician, including service as Chief of Family Practice, Medical Staff President, a member of the hospital’s Executive Committee and hospital representative to the American Medical Association, Conference Room 1 was dedicated in his memory and renamed the Lander Conference Room. The Lander Conference Room will house a display including photos and memorabilia from Dr. Lander’s time in practice.

The program was followed by a luncheon held in the BMH Rotunda. On hand were Dr. Lander’s sons, Bryn Mawr Hospital Senior Leadership, and BMH Medical Staff members.
