This is a reminder that your 2018 mandatory computer-based training courses are due for completion by July 1, 2018. These courses ensure that we are providing a safe environment for our patients, employees, physicians and our community.
With three weeks to go and only 62.4% of employees in compliance, please remember that employees who have not completed the mandatory courses by July 1, 2018 will:
- have their merit increase reduced by 25%
- be placed on a leave status as of July 2, 2018 and be subject to our Performance Management Policy, up to and including termination
- be unable to continue their employment with MLH if compliance is not achieved by July 31, 2018, due to patient safety and accreditation requirements.
Employees with previous performance management actions may be considered for immediate termination. Receiving a Final Corrective Intervention (Orange Level) for CBT non-compliance will also result in the loss of any clinical ladder pay, the Superior Patient Experience Bonus, and the ability to transfer.
I strongly encourage all employees who have not yet completed their mandatory courses (due July 1, 2018), to do so ASAP, in case of any unforeseen conflicts as we get closer to the deadline.
