Bryn Mawr Hospital celebrates 125 years of history

On October 3, Bryn Mawr Hospital celebrated the 125th anniversary of the founding of the hospital by Dr. Gerhard in 1893 and the admittance of the first patient in October of that year. The celebration included opening remarks by BMH President Andi Gilbert, accompanied by Dr. Gerhard and the Villanova Will.D.Cat and cheerleaders. Festivities included musician Matt Santry and XPN DJ Robert Drake, Subaru provided cupcakes to staff, BMH community health provided giveaways and information to employees and the cafeteria offered food items that originated 125 years ago, including hot dogs and Cracker Jacks.
