Linda Carrick, PhD, named regional vice president, Patient Care Services, BMH and LMC

Linda Carrick, PhD, RN, has served in an interim capacity in the newly created regional VP of patient care services at Bryn Mawr and Lankenau since February. It is our pleasure to announce Linda will continue as a full-time employee with full responsibility for the role of regional vice president of Patient Care Services for BMH and LMC. Linda has accomplished many things to date and we look forward to her future contributions in this new role. Linda will report to Andi Gilbert, BMH president, Phillip Robinson, LMC president and Barbara Wadsworth, CNO.

As a reminder, Linda’s previous roles include chief nurse executive at Mount Carmel Health System, a four hospital system with over 1,000 beds and over 9,000 employees. She spent seven years at Kennedy University Hospitals/Health System as the SVP of Clinical Operations and chief nurse executive. Linda has significant experience in strategic planning, quality and safety, workforce management, leadership development and standardization of data and reporting at unit level. Linda has also provided interim leadership, executive coaching, and has had many assignments with medical facilities providing business planning, workflow redesign, and service line work to increase overall performance and profitability.

Linda also serves as an adjunct professor at the University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing. She received her PhD from the University of Pennsylvania, completed the Wharton Nurse Executive Fellowship and received her MSN from University of Pennsylvania and her BSN from Villanova. Linda is also a certified trainer in Emotional Intelligence, 360 Assessment and Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI).
