LIMR to host educational lecture on neuropathology indicators

Lankenau Institute for Medical Research (LIMR) invites all clinicians and researchers to join us for an educational lecture entitled “Brain endothelial-derived extracellular vesicles as indicators of neuropathology,” with Servio Ramirez, associate professor in the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine of the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University, on Thursday, February 28, 2019, at 2:00 pm. Dr. Ramirez’s laboratory focuses on the study of how brain pathologies affect the neurovascular unit and how these changes lead to the disruption of the blood-brain barrier. The lecture will take place in McLean Conference Room in Annenberg at Lankenau Medical Center.
