STEEEP Huddle:  E for Equitable

This week’s STEEEP Huddle, contributed by Cara Galob, site supervisor, Care Coordination, Paoli Hospital, focuses on Mental Health Awareness Month, observed in May in the US since 1949. Awareness is key to understanding what mental health is and how families can receive the help they need. Public knowledge is important in accessing community resources. Main Line Health supports equitable care for all of our patients and employees. Having a better understanding of mental health issues and the varying signs and symptoms of mental illness allows us to deliver the best care to patients affected by it and improve their lives and those of their families. Reach out to social workers in your facility for more information and support or contact Mirmont Outpatient Services 1.888.227.3898 or First Call 1.800.382.2377

The STEEEP Huddle topics are posted on the Performance Excellence 2020 site at landing.mainlinehealth.org/PE2020.
