Message from Incident Command: Community Spread

Sent on behalf of Dr. Andy Norton, Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Jon Stallkamp, Incident Commander & Dr. Mark Ingerman, Chief of Infectious Diseases

Dear Colleagues:

As we continue to see an increasing number of COVID-19 patients admitted to our hospitals, we have now moved to wide-spread community exposure. As an MLH employee, you are at risk of coming into contact with others–either at work or in the community– who have COVID-19.

We have moved from containment to mitigation, which means that self-monitoring is vitally important. You and your family should be taking your temperature twice daily and monitoring yourself for any new onset of respiratory symptoms and a fever over 100F.

It is essential that you stay home if you have symptoms and/or a fever.
